Coyotes' telethon will raise funds for Phoenix Children's Hospital
GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Arizona Coyotes announced today that the Arizona Coyotes Foundation, in conjunction with FOX Sports Arizona, will hold a charity telethon during the telecast of the Arizona Coyotes versus Los Angeles Kings game on Saturday, Jan. 23.
Funds raised during the game telecast will provide financial support to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children's Hospital. Phoenix Children's Hospital is in need of funding to expand their new state-of-the-art cancer center which will allow PCH to more effectively treat children who require oncology and hematology care.
The telecast begins on FOX Sports Arizona Plus at 6:30 p.m. with the Coyotes Live pre-game show.
Fans who make a donation of $50 or more during the telethon will receive a puck signed by a Coyotes player and two complimentary tickets to the Feb. 2 game against the Kings. Fans who donate $75 or more will receive a puck signed by Coyotes forward Max Domi and two complimentary tickets to the Feb. 2 game against the Kings. Fans who donate $100 or more will receive a signed Shane Doan Cowboy bobblehead, two complimentary tickets to the Feb. 2 game against the Kings and be entered to win two tickets to a suite to the Coyotes-Kings game on Feb. 2. The six lucky winners will also meet Shane Doan and Max Domi after the game.
Donations can be made by calling 623-266-9645 on Saturday, Jan. 23 from 5:30 p.m. through the end of the game. Phone calls will be answered by Coyotes President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc, Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith, Coyotes players' wives and Coyotes alumni. All proceeds from the in-arena 50/50 raffle during the game will also go directly to PCH's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
Fans can also donate by texting "PCHtelethon" to 24700 or by visiting arizonacoyotes.com/telethon. Fans may also visit sections 110 and 122 at Gila River Arena for assistance with online donations or to make cash and check donations.
