Coyotes partner with SanTan Brewing on Yotes Pale Ale
GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Some would say that beer and hockey go together like peanut butter and jelly. A winning combination. What's not to like?
But that doesn't mean it can't be improved upon.
And that's just what the Arizona Coyotes and Chandler-based Santan Brewing Company are doing.
They've teamed up in the creation of a new YPA -- Yotes Pale Ale.
The new brew is an American Pale Ale in style, featuring Cascade, Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops, and Coyotes brick red in coloring. It has an alcohol content of 5.4 percent and an IBU of 40.
The beer will be available on draft at Coyotes games this season starting Wednesday, Nov. 23, when the team hosts the Vancouver Canucks.
"We are confident that Coyotes beer lovers will enjoy this new beverage, and we hope that they will celebrate many Coyotes wins this season with a Yotes Pale Ale," Coyotes president and CEO Anthony LeBlanc said.
