Conley to be inducted to Milwaukee Braves Honor Roll

Gene Conley, a World Series Champion with the 1957 Milwaukee Braves team, will be inducted into the Braves Honor Roll at Miller Park on Monday, May 6 at noon, the Milwaukee Brewers and announced on Friday.
Conley went 42-43 with a 3.56 ERA in his five seasons from 1954 to 1958 with the Braves, finishing his 11-year MLB career with three All-Star appearances and a 3.82 ERA. 
Aside from his baseball skills, Conley is still the only athlete to ever win a championship in two of the four major sports in the United States, winning three NBA Championships with the Boston Celtics in 1959, 1960 and 1961. His basketball lasted eight years, playing for the Knicks and the Celtics.     
The current Milwaukee Braves Honor Roll includes: Warren Spahn (2004), Johnny Logan (2005), Andy Pafko (2006), Bobby Thomson (2008), Bob Uecker (2009), Felix Mantilla (2010) and Eddie Mathews (2010), Joe Adcock (2011), Frank Torre (2011), Del Crandall (2012) and Hank Aaron (2012). It is located along the third base side at the field level concourse at Miller Park.
