Coach Sarkisian responds to Haden, passes 'Ice Bucket Challenge' Carroll's way
The "Ice Bucket Challenge" for ALS made its rounds last week on the east coast. Now the west coast, members of the Pac-12, specifically, are joining the cause.
USC athletic director Pat Haden on Friday took part in the challenge, and then immediately issued the same challenge to his head football coach, Steve Sarkisian.
It only took coach Sark one day to respond, as the first-year head coach, with the support of his players in the background, doused himself with what appeared to be a fairly full jug of Powerade. In spirit of the challenge, coach Sark chose Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks to take the challenge.
If we know anything about the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks, it's that they don't back down from anything, especially when Richard Sherman is involved.
If you aren't familiar with the cause, head over to ALSA.org for more information.
I took the ice bucket challenge and now I'm calling out @PeteCarroll and the @Seahawks. #FightOn #Chillin4Charity http://t.co/k9TNQoECkU
