Clippers coach Doc Rivers joins Twitter: His first follow is ...?
Welcome to Twitter, Doc Rivers!
On Monday, the Clippers coach took the advice of Phil Jackson -- who Rivers and his-then Celtics defeated for the 2007-08 NBA Championship when Jackson was the Lakers' top dog -- and is giving Twitter a shot.
And, like a good protective father, his first follow on Twitter was his daughter, Callie, who tweeted her dad had also joined up with Instagram.
Along with keeping tabs on Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, JJ Redick, Jamal Crawford and sons Austin Rivers and Spencer Rivers, a quick glance at who Doc is following shows us two things ... Rivers loves food (mainly steakhouses) and architecture.
Hello, Twitter world! Thanks to @PhilJackson11 who suggested I try this.

Doc's a fan of Architect Magazine and Architectural Magainze, Eater, Grub Street, Abe and Louie's in Boston and BLT Steak New York. He also prefers the New York Times and Michael Wilbon ... whoa, hey Doc, how about a little FOX Sports West/Prime Ticket love?!
It's just too bad he joined Twitter months after his team was part of an epic Emoji battle during this summer's DeAndre Jordan saga.
As Doc's followers will likely surpass 15K on Tuesday, it will be interesting to see who and what Rivers follows next.
