Cleveland Indians make moves with starting rotation

CLEVELAND (AP) -- The Indians have optioned struggling starter Cody Anderson to Triple-A Columbus.

Anderson started Monday's series opener and was tagged for six runs, including two home runs, in 4 1-3 innings. The Indians bailed out Anderson by rallying to win 15-6, but he's 0-3 with a 7.99 ERA in six starts.

The right-hander has also given up 10 homers in 32 2-3 innings.

The team also activated starting right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall from the bereavement list. He's expected to be in the lineup for Tuesday night's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Chisenhall is batting .255 with no homers and three RBIs in 17 games this season.

Also, the Indians will start Mike Clevinger on Wednesday against the Reds in Cincinnati. It will be the major league debut for Clevinger, who has a 3.03 ERA in seven starts for the Clippers.
