The Reds announced Thursday night they have reinstated closer Aroldis Chapman from the paternity list prior to their game in Pittsburgh against the Pirates.
To make room for the left-handed reliever, Cincinnati optioned utility player Kristopher Negron to Triple-A Louisville.
