Cavs' Kyrie Irving injures shoulder, doubtful for Pacers
CLEVELAND -- Kyrie Irving suffered a shoulder injury during the Cavaliers' 110-99 win over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday and did not travel with the team to Indiana early Friday morning.
Irving is scheduled to have an MRI on his left shoulder Friday at the Cleveland Clinic. He is listed as doubtful for Friday night's game against the Pacers. If cleared, Irving could fly to Indiana in time for the game.
The fourth-year point guard scored 24 points and went 10 of 10 from the free-throw line in Thursday's win. He hurt the shoulder in third quarter but returned to the game in the fourth.
The Cavs (37-22) have won 18 of their past 20 games. Irving has missed just three this season.
