Cavaliers (7-24) at Nets (15-14) - Game #32

OPENING TIP

The Cavs’ winning streak came to a halt at two after surrendering the game’s final nine points vs. the Hawks on Friday. As has been the case practically all season, the Cavs now get the honor of playing on the road the night after a tough loss. The Nets are a team in turmoil, firing coach Avery Johnson and replacing him with interim man P.J. Carlesimo a couple days ago. They’re coming off a Friday night hammer job of the Bobcats.

Venue: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, N.Y.

TV/Radio: 7 p.m. FOX Sports Ohio and WUAB-TV/WTAM

All-Time Series: Cavs lead, 87-68.

• Anderson Varejao (right knee contusion) and Daniel Gibson (concussion) are out for the Cavs. Kris Humphries (abdominal strain) is questionable for the Nets.

• Irving has scored 20 or more points in 14 of his 20 games. He’s averaging a team-high 23.2 ppg.
