Cat disrupts WTA event in Qatar by wandering across the court
Just imagine: You're up on your opponent in an incredibly tight tennis match. It's your serve. You have break point. The moment is right to claim victory.
... and then a random cat wanders onto the court, taking away any suspense and replacing it with a collective "awwwwww."
Such was the case for Roberta Vinci on Wednesday at the Qatar Open, as she took on Turkey's Cagla Buyukakcay. With Vinci ahead 6-5 in the first set, the Doha feline seized its opportunity:

That's classic cat. Rub your face on some stuff, disrupt what the humans are doing and outrun anyone trying to corral you. But it didn't disrupt Vinci, who clinched the set and finished off the match 7-5, 6-1:

Perhaps Vinci has a new good-luck charm.
