Cardinals have 4 Pro Bowl selections: Fitzgerald, Jones, Peterson, Baker

The Arizona Cardinals had four players selected to the NFC roster for the 2018 Pro Bowl: Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, linebacker Chandler Jones, cornerback Patrick Peterson and special teams player Budda Baker.

Safety Tyrann Mathieu and running back Adrian Peterson were names as alternates.

Fitzgerald was selected for the third year in a row and 11th time overall -- more than any player in franchise history and second most all-time for any wide receivrer, behind Jerry Rice's 13. Only Tom Brady (13) has more selections among active players.

Fitzgerald is second in the NFC and fourth in the NFL with 92 receptions. With 982 receiving yards, he needs 18 more to reach the 1,000-yard mark for the ninth time in his career.

Jones was selected for the second time in his career and first as a Cardinal. He leads the NFL with 15 sacks and 25 tackles for loss.

Peterson was selected for the seventh consecutive season -- six in a row as a cornerback after being picked as a return specialist as a rookie. He has tied Fitzgerald's franchise record for most consecutive Pro Bowl selections and joins Hall of Famers Jim Brown and Barry Sanders as the only players in NFL history to be named to seven Pro Bowls before the age of 28.

Baker leads the Cardinals with 15 special teams tackles. He is the first Cardinals rookie to be named to the Pro Bowl since Peterson in 2011.

The 2018 Pro Bowl will be played in Orlando, Fla., on Sunday, Jan. 28.
