Bye, Blake: Clippers trade Blake Griffin to Pistons in exchange for 3 players, draft picks

The Blake Griffin era in Los Angeles has come to an end.

The Clippers traded their All-Star forward to the Detroit Pistons on Monday.

LA acquired forward Tobias Harris, guard Avery Bradley, center Boban Marjanovic, a 2018 protected first-round selection, and a 2019 second-round pick from the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Griffin, forward Brice Johnson and center Willie Reed.

Griffin, a former first-round pick out of Oklahoma in 2009, has career marks of 21.6 points , 9.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game in his eighth seasons in Los Angeles.

Griffin was also a five-time NBA All-Star and five time All-NBA selection.




















Harris (6-foot-9, 235 pounds) averaged 18.1 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists for the Pistons.

Bradley (6-2, 180) put up 15.0 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.15 steals.

Marjanovic (7-3, 290) has appeared in 19 games (one start) for Detroit this in 2017-18, averaging 6.2 points and 3.0 rebounds.
