Bucs' Louis Murphy agrees to three-year contract extension
Wide receiver Louis Murphy and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension Friday.
Murphy, 27, has 380 yards and two touchdowns on 31 catches in 11 games played this season. A six-year veteran, he has 2,124 yards for his career with 10 touchdowns on 152 catches in 82 games played. He also has 14 carries for 146 yards and one touchdown.
A native of St. Petersburg, Fla., the Bucs signed him to a one-year deal last March. The Florida product also has had stints with the Oakland Raiders, Carolina Panthers and New York Giants.
