Bucks sign Jennings to second 10-day contract

Brandon Jennings has 10 more days to make an impression on the Milwaukee Bucks brass.

The Bucks signed Jennings to a second 10-day contract Wednesday, extending his latest stint in Milwaukee. A former first-round pick of the Bucks, Jennings spent four seasons in Milwaukee, averaging 17.0 points, 5.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game from 2010-13.

Milwaukee dealt Jennings to the Detroit Pistons in 2013. He spent time with the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks and Washington Wizards before departing for China in 2017 and signing with the Shanxi Brave Dragons.

He returned to North America in February, joining the G League's Wisconsin Herd, a Bucks affiliate, before rejoining Milwaukee earlier this month. Jennings made a splash in his return to the Bucks, racking up 16 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds in his first game.

Jennings has been a difference-maker for the injury-depleted Bucks, who remain without guards Matthew Dellavedova and Malcolm Brogdon. The Bucks also released forward Mirza Teletovic earlier this month. Jennings has made four appearances since signing with Milwaukee, averaging 6.0 points, 5.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds in 15.8 minutes per game.
