Bucks assign first-round pick Vaughn to D-League

The Milwaukee Bucks have assigned guard Rashad Vaughn to the D-League's Canton Charge, general manager John Hammond announced Friday.

Vaughn has appeared in 61 games for the Bucks this season and averaged 2.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 12.0 minutes per game. The Bucks selected the 19-year-old out of UNLV with the 17th pick in the 2015 draft.

Vaughn averaged 17.8 points per game in his one year at UNLV, earning Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year honors. The Minneapolis native was a McDonald's All-American in high school.
