Bucks announce preseason schedule

The Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday announced their preseason schedule, which will include six preseaon games from Oct. 3-19.

The team will return to Madison this fall for a week of training camp from Sept. 27 through Sept. 30 and will host a preseason game there.

"We are thrilled to return to Madison for a second consecutive year," Bucks General Manager John Hammond said. "The facilities at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are unrivaled and we thoroughly enjoyed our time in the state's capital last preseason."

The Bucks had not played in Madison since the '90s before an exhibition game last year. The team played 25 regular-season games, seven playoff games and fivepreseason games in the city during the 1960s and 1970s.

Milwaukee will host its 40th annual MACC Fund game on Saturday, Oct. 15, to benefit Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer. The event has raised more than $1.2 million for children's cancer research at the Midwest Children's Cancer Center at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee since 1977.
