Buccaneers sign Jeremy Cain as long-snapper
TAMPA, Fla. -- A new long-snapper is coming to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jeremy Cain.
Cain, 33, has played in 83 games in his eight-year career, which has spanned stops with the Chicago Bears (2004-2005, 2013), Tennessee Titans (2007) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2009-2012). A former linebacker at Massachusetts, the native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has 21 tackles as a pro.
Cain's signing likely means change is coming for long-snapper Andrew Economos, who had been the longest-tenured Bucs since joining the team before the 2006 season.
