Buccaneers' Austin Seferian-Jenkins fined for end zone pose

Austin Seferian-Jenkins' Captain Morgan pose cost him more than 15 yards.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie tight end was fined $11,025 for the act last Sunday in a loss to the Atlanta Falcons at Raymond James Stadium, a league source confirmed Saturday. Seferian-Jenkins, the 38th overall pick in the most recent draft, struck the pose after catching a 1-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Josh McCown early in the fourth quarter. Seferian-Jenkins was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The Washington product has 198 yards and two touchdowns on 18 catches.

"I shouldn't have posted it," Seferian-Jenkins said Monday. "We're in the middle of a 1-8 season. I can see why people were upset with it for multiple reasons, and the last thing I want to do is put myself in front of the team in any way. I want to let my play do the talking."
