Bryant comes up big in Cowboys' OT win

ARLINGTON, Texas — As expected, Dez Bryant was in a good mood after his career-game Sunday at Cowboys Stadium.

He laughed in the locker room as teammate Lawrence Vickers joked about Bryant's skinny jeans. He then showcased a big smile on a few other occasions as reporters chatted with the 24-year-old in front of his locker.

But make no mistake, Bryant didn't sound satisfied with possibly his best game in the NFL.

Bryant's 12 catches for 145 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown were a significant factor in the Cowboys' 23-20 overtime win against the Cleveland Browns.

"I feel like we can't pay attention to success," Bryant said. "We just got to keep our head down and keep on fighting. Just keep doing that and there's no telling what might happen."

Bryant said he didn't know if it was his best game because he hasn't been paying attention to his individual performances. It's about team goals for the third-year receiver and right now the Cowboys are 5-5 with two winnable home games up next.

If Bryant continues producing the way he did Sunday, the Cowboys could be looking at a 7-5 record heading to Cincinnati on Dec. 9.

If that happens, pass along all the praise you want, Bryant says it won't change him.

"I feel like no matter how much anybody praises me, it's not going to change my mindset," Bryant said. "It's not going to ease me, or whatever. I'm focused on this game. … I like what I got going on right now."
