Brian Xanders interviews with Dolphins

The Detroit Lions confirmed that Brian Xanders, who has been the team's senior personnel director for the last year, is interviewing Tuesday with the Miami Dolphins to be their general manager.

Xanders has been credited with helping to revamp the Lions' scouting and evaluation system, which led to an impressive draft in 2013. He previously was the GM for the Denver Broncos.
