Brian Vickers To Run Special Louisville Paint Scheme

Brian Vickers will run this special paint scheme at Kentucky Speedway to honor University of Louisville's 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship team.

It looks like the Aaron's Dream Machine is ready to soar at Kentucky Speedway.

Louisville announced Wednesday that Brian Vickers and his No. 55 Toyota Camry will sport University of Louisville colors and a paint scheme honoring the school's 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship team when he drives in the Sprint Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway on June 29th.

"This will certainly help my popularity with local fans that weekend," Vickers said. "I'm a big fan of sports in general, so to have the national champions on board is a huge honor. They are winners, and it's always cool to surround yourself with success. Our goal is to make them proud."

U of L alumni and fans can support Vickers by taking advantage of a special Cardinal Takeover ticket package, which offers a ticket to the race, access to the Cardinal hospitality event where you'll enjoy complimentary food and Coca-Cola beverages, a guided pit tour and much more.

In addition, the first 200 fans to attend the Cardinal Takeover will receive a collectible red miniature Louisville Slugger bat with the Quaker State 400 race logo emblazoned in gold. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.
