Brewers rank as one of MLB's most affordable
Yet again, the Milwaukee Brewers have been ranked as having one of the most affordable fan experiences in Major League Baseball.
Team Marketing Report’s annual "Fan Cost Index" ranked the Brewers as the seventh most affordable franchise of the 30 teams in baseball, up one spot in the rankings from the previous two seasons.
The ranking is compiled based on the price of four adult average-priced tickets, two small draft beers, four small soft drinks, four regular-sized hot dogs, parking for one car, two game programs and two adult-size adjustable caps.
The cost of purchasing all of those items at Miller Park is $171.52, over $30 less than the average around baseball. The average ticket price at Miller Park for 2012 is $24.01, less than the MLB average of $26.98.
"Our goal is to give every Brewers fan a variety of options for entertainment when they come to Miller Park, and we're proud to feature a number of affordable packages for families," Brewers Chief Operating Officer Rick Schlesinger said in a release.
