Brewers' Hart out 3-4 weeks for knee surgery

MILWAUKEE — The Brewers, while playing their first Cactus League contest of the spring, announced Sunday that right fielder Corey Hart will undergo surgery on his right knee this week and will be out for the next three to four weeks.

The surgery will repair a torn meniscus and leave him unavailable for most of spring training for the second straight year and he may have to open the regular season on the disabled list.

The two-time All-Star played in 130 games last season and hit .285 with 26 home runs and 63 RBI.
