Brandon McCarthy's penis looks ridiculous when he takes a bath.

As a comedian, I am a fan of Brandon McCarthy. His Twitter feed is not filled with boring cliché, re-tweets of fans kissing up to him, bible verse, or crazy conspiracy theories. But enough about Chipper Jones.

Brandon McCarthy’s Twitter is raw and hilarious, and makes me think he’s got a serious future as a stand-up comedian after he’s done playing baseball. Or maybe during the remainder of this season, while he heals from a torn UCL. He’s got time to kill.

But even I was taken a back by his tweet Monday night. During “a series of post-surgery thoughts,” McCarthy slipped one in that none of us were expecting.

In between two tweets about the movie Unbroken, this:

Which makes me think he was bathing and watching Unbroken at the same time.

I spend most of my life in a world that’s completely uncensored. But man, this was weird. McCarthy's probably not wrong; it’s a thought I’ve had before. At the time, I was six years old.

Now, I can’t tell if McCarthy is utterly hilarious, or letting the pain pills get to him, or one of those people who blurts out everything that comes into his head, or a cross between all three. Regardless, he’s got a bright future in stand-up if he wants it.
