Boomboom Ballykeel won the $683,000 Metro Pace on Saturday night at Mohawk Racetrack, rallying to beat favorite Western Vintage by 21/4 lengths.

Boomboom Ballykeel, a 10-1 pick driven by Sylvain Filion, won in 1:50.4. Some Major Beach was the third in the richest event for 2-year-olds in North America.
