Blues recall D Lindbohm from Chicago, assign Edmundson

ST. LOUIS -- The Blues have recalled defenseman Petteri Lindbohm from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, and assigned defenseman Joel Edmundson to Chicago.

Lindbohm, 22, has dressed in 20 games for Chicago this season, posting seven points (two goals, five assists) and 22 penalty minutes. Last season, the 6-foot-3, 209-pound defenseman appeared in 23 regular-season games for the Blues, tallying three points (two goals, one assist) and 26 penalty minutes.  The Helsinki, Finland, native was originally drafted by the Blues in the sixth round (176th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Edmundson, 22, has appeared in 23 games for the Blues this season, recording two assists and 20 penalty minutes.  The 6-4, 207-pound defenseman spent the previous two seasons with the Wolves, totaling 20 points (eight goals, 12 assists) and 157 penalty minutes in 94 regular-season games. The Brandon, Manitoba, native was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (46th overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
