Blues recall D Chris Butler from Wolves

ST. LOUIS -- The Blues have recalled defenseman Chris Butler from their American Hockey League affiliate, the team announced Thursday.

Butler, 30, is captain of the Chicago Wolves. He has one goal and one assist in 11 games. Butler has played in 387 career NHL regular-season games, including 38 with the Blues, his hometown team.

The Blues are a bit light on defensemen with Robert Bortuzzo and Joel Edmundson on injured reserve.
