Blues recall Caron, Edmundson, assign Lindbohm to Chicago

The St. Louis Blues shuffled their roster Sunday, recalling two players from the Chicago Wolves and sending another down to their American Hockey League affiliate.

The players called up from Chicago were forward Jordan Caron and defenseman Joel Edmundson. Defenseman Petteri Lindbohm, a recent call-up from Chicago, was sent back to the Wolves.

Caron, 25, was signed by the Blues as a free agent this past offseason. The 6-foot-2, 198-pound forward has dressed in 25 games for the Wolves this season, posting 14 points (nine goals, five assists) and 30 penalty minutes. Caron has appeared in 153 career NHL games between Boston (134) and Colorado (19), accumulating 28 points (12 goals, 16 assists) and 78 penalty minutes.

Edmundson, 22, made the Blues' roster out of training camp and played in 23 games, logging two assists and 20 penalty minutes before a brief demotion to Chicago. The 6-5, 217-pound defenseman recorded 15 penalty minutes in six games with the Wolves.

Lindbohm had a minus-four rating in seven games with the Blues.
