Blues recall Barbashev from Wolves

Center Ivan Barbashev is back with the Blues after a brief stint with the Chicago Wolves that was just long enough to suffer a minor injury.

Barbashev was sent to the AHL, along with Magnus Paajarvi, during the Blues' bye week. But he suffered an upper-body injury in a game Wednesday and was not ready to go when the Blues resumed their schedule Sunday night at Chicago.

The Blues recalled him Monday, a sign he should be good to go when the Blues host the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night.

Barbashev, 21, has three points (two goals, one assist) in 12 games with the Blues. He ranks third on the Wolves with 37 points (19 goals, 18 assists) in 46 games.
