Blake Griffin shoots around before Clippers' game with Thunder

In Oklahoma on Tuesday to watch his alma mater retire his No. 23 Sooners jersey, Blake Griffin told reporter he was 'very close' to returning to the court. Before the Clippers game with the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight, we saw proof of that.

Griffin hasn't played since Christmas against the Lakers and would still need to sit out four games as part of his team-mandated suspension once healthy.

Much has been made of the timetable and circumstances surrounding Griffin's broken right hand but seen shooting with a smile on his face during pregame leads one to believe he's feeling pretty good and is indeed very close.
