Bernie and Da Bears: Kosar makes nod to Marino in praising Cutler
Browns icon Bernie Kosar made a stop at Chicago Bears practice Wednesday and had plenty of positives for Bears starting quarterback Jay Cutler.
Kosar, wearing an orange T-shirt emblazoned with "Bears" across the front rather than the "Browns" to which many fans are accustomed, shared his thoughts with Bears quarterbacks.

From reporters who were there, Kosar mostly remained quiet during practice but did talk to the media afterward.
Kosar, who was a backup to Dan Marino for three seasons later in his career in Miami, spoke of similarities between the Hall of Famer and Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.
"Dan had an amazing presence within the pocket, being able to move from me to you, finding that weak spot, finding that kind of opportunity and openness," Kosar said. "It's just, [Cutler] feels the pressure, and just that subtle little step or two that he's able to take to get away. He's really impressive."
Kosar also praised Cutler's arm strength, timing and touch.
The former Browns Pro Bowler has a close connection with Bears head coach Marc Trestman. Kosar was Trestman's pupil in his college days at the University of Miami and then in the pros in Cleveland.
