Bangladesh reaches 238-8 in 2nd ODI vs England
DHAKA, Bangladesh (AP) Mahmudullah hit 75 as Bangladesh reached 238-8 in the second one-day international against England on Sunday.
The batsman held together the innings as English bowlers made regular inroads after stand-in captain Jos Buttler opted to bowl first.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza's late surge helped Bangladesh reach a respectable total as it attempts to level the series.
Mortaza smashed 44 and added 69 off 48 balls with Nasir Hossain after Bangladesh was left struggling on 169-7 after 42 overs.
Mosaddek Hossain contributed 29.
Nasir Hossain was not out on 27.
Fast bowlers Chris Woakes and Jake Ball and leg-spinner Adil Rashid claimed two wickets apiece.
