"We knew that CSU Bakersfield was a tough defensive team coming in and they showed that tonight," NAU coach Jack Murphy said. "We struggled once again to hit shots and we won't win games that way. There's some time between now and our next game so we have to get back to practice and work on the things that will help us win."

JoJo Anderson led the Lumberjacks with 15 points and Mike Green scored 13.

CSUB shot 56 percent (34 of 61) from the field and outscored the Lumberjacks 42-20 in the paint.
