Badgers RB Clement could miss Georgia State game with ankle injury

MADISON, Wis. -- No. 9 Wisconsin could be without lead running back Corey Clement on Saturday against Georgia State because of a left ankle injury.

The senior was added to the injury report on Thursday. Clement said he rolled the ankle during the Badgers' 54-10 win last week over Akron.

Clement was initially considered healthy enough on Monday that coach Paul Chryst listed him as the top kick returner on the depth chart to replace the injured Natrell Jamerson.

Chryst said Thursday that Clement practiced Monday, but hadn't done much the rest of the week.

The Badgers (2-0) probably won't need Clement against the Panthers (0-2), who have allowed 789 yards rushing over two games.

Wisconsin starts Big Ten play next week with a trip to No. 12 Michigan State.
