Badgers predictions: Game 3 vs. Troy

Wisconsin is back in the top 25, which usually means more available predictions. However, when the opponent is Troy (and especially coming after a game against Miami (Ohio)), the pickings are a bit slim -- not to mention predictable.

Nevertheless, here are this week's predictions from around the web and Twitter:

Stacy Long of the Montgomery Advertiser: Wisconsin 45, Troy 10. "Troy coach Neal Brown has referred to Troy's first three games as NFL-style 'preseason' games that lead to Sun Belt play. It's a good thing the Trojans have next week off because Troy will be worth every penny of Wisconsin's $1.15 million guarantee."

All three Big Ten Network analysts are picking Wisconsin to win. The scores: Tom Dienhart 46-3; Sean Merriman 35-0; Brent Yarina 48-7.

All three Athlon Sports analysts are picking Wisconsin to win. The scores: David Fox, 42-7; Braden Gall, 45-17; Steven Lassan, 48-14.

Whatifsports.com simulation: An average score of Wisconsin 34.7, Troy 22.4. The sim gives the Badgers an 85.1 percent chance of winning.

Pete Fiutak of Collegefootballnews.com: Wisconsin 52, Troy 14. "Wisconsin will keep on producing at a high level, even if it doesn't look like the team of the last few seasons. Unlike Miami, though, Troy will create a few big offensive plays to at least make it worth watching for a little while."

No surprise that all seven CBSSports.com analysts are picking Wisconsin to win. But one -- Dennis Dodd -- is picking Troy with 35.5 points.

All six ESPN.com Big Ten contributors picked Wisconsin to win.

No shock that all seven analysts at USAToday.com pick Wisconsin to win.

Two of five analysts at Lindy's Sports are picking Troy . . . with the spread of 35 points.
