Austin Hedges scratched from lineup with upper back tightness

SAN DIEGO-- Padres catcher Austin Hedges has been scratched from Monday's start with upper back tightness, according to Jeff Sanders of the Union Tribune:

Hedges is 1-11 with a home run and a walk in three starts this season. He is considered day-to-day.

A.J. Ellis will bat 8th in the lineup and replace Hedges at catcher. This will be his first start as a Padre.
