ASU women's golf finishes sixth at NCAAs
FRANKLIN, Tenn. — The Arizona State women’s golf team finished in a tie for sixth place Friday at the NCAA championships.
The Sun Devils bounced back from a disappointing third-round performance the previous day to post a fourth-round score of 292 and move into sixth. ASU finished with a four-day total of 27-over 1,179, posting team rounds of 292, 291 and 304 over the first three days before Friday's 292.
Senior Giulia Molinaro finished in a tie for eighth individually at the event, carding a fourth-round total of 7-over 79 to finish with an overall score of 3-over (69-71-72-79). Molinaro capped her career by earning first-team All-America honors.
Laura Blanco finished tied for 21st overall after posting rounds of 73, 73, 76 and 72 for a 294 total. Noemi Jimenez tied for 45th with a four-day total of 298 while Justine Lee and Daniela Ordonez posted a 301 and 308, respectively.
