ASU-Marist women's basketball game canceled

The Arizona State-Marist women's basketball game originally scheduled for Tuesday at noon in Tempe was canceled on Monday.

The game had been moved to Wednesday after it was determined that Marist would be unable to travel because of winter storms on the East Coast, but those plans were scrapped when it was determined that Marist still might not be able to arrive in time.

Wednesday was the latest possible date for the game because the Sun Devils open Pac-10 play at home Friday against Oregon State at 6:30 p.m.

It has not yet been determined whether the ASU and Marist will attempt to play the game later this season.
