As it happened: Relive USA's upset victory over No. 1 Germany

FT: And that's it! USWNT move into the Women's World Cup final with a 2-0 win over No. 1 Germany. Crazy game, some crazier decision-making but none of that matters now. We'll see you in Vancouver on July 5. Meanwhile, check out these tweets by some famous fans.

90' : Seems like old news now but watch Johnston's gift Germany a penalty.

84' : 2-0 to the Americans! Carli Lloyd breaks down the German defense and O'Hara steps in front of Kemme and buries the chance. Great sub by Ellis.

80' : Wambach is in and -- more interestingly -- so is Marozsan. 10 minutes, plus stoppage, for the USWNT to hold this lead. Let's see if they can do it.

75' : The goal has given the USWNT a bit of swagger but it can't relax against this German team. Kelley O'Hara comes on for Heath, meaning that Jill Ellis wants to lock this game down.

69' : 1-0 U.S! Carli Lloyd dispatches the penalty after Alex Morgan is taken down -- although it did appear that she was outside the box. Sasic's missed penalty could be huge now. What a response from the USWNT.

65' : They may have missed the PK but the Germans seem to finally be in this game. Multiple dangerous forays into the American's half have proven that. How will the USWNT respond?

60' : Sasic misses the penalty! Johnston chests a ball down and doesn't see a German attacker on her shoulder. She then proceeds to pull her down. ButSasic pulls her penalty just wide and the Americans breathe in a huge sigh of relief.

55' : Morgan beginning to look a bit tired in attack. Might be a good time to introduce Leroux-Dwyer or Amy Rodriguez into the attack and bring Abby Wambach on later in the match.

50' : Americans start the second half the same way they ended the first: possession-based attack. USWNT holding its own against the best team in the world.

HT: Despite going close multiple times and a scary moment of Heath running into the ad boards, both teams go into halftime scoreless. Great first half of pressure and attack for the USWNT and the defense has settled. This game has definitely lived up to the billing. Here's a look at Angerer's superb save on Morgan.

40' : Germans beginning to attack now. Quick spells of possession aren't really producing much more than long shots that are off target. Interesting to watch them gain confidence though. Might mean danger for the U.S.

35' : USWNT is knocking on the door here. Two shots come close to breaking the deadlock. Sauerbrunn picks up a yellow for a hard tackle.

30' : Scary moment as Morgan Brian and Alexandra Popp's heads collide in the box and both fall to the turf. Popp's head is bleeding with the German medical team trying to seal it up while Brian receives treatment as well.

25' : Good spell of possession for the U.S. Beginning to look more dangerous and not allowing Germany to get quality looks on goal. Heath and Brian particularly look good, as does Rapinoe.

20' : Both teams settling into a groove here. Americans appear to be the more dangerous but the anxiety seems palpable every time Germany drives at the U.S. goal. Also, here's a look Johnston's shot that was cleared off the line.

15' : Angerer comes up huge again for Germany. The German goalkepper manages to save Alex Morgan's shot after Tobin Heath played a beautiful through ball to cut through the German defense. Both 'keepers look to have a big game on their hands today.

10' : Game really starting to pick up now. Julie Johnston's header off a corner is saved off the line and Germany continue to pile up corner kicks. We're in for a good one today.

5' : It's been all Germany thus far. The Germans have put together multiple good looks on goal and the USWNT looks a bit startled facing one of the best offenses in the world. Let's see if they settle in.

1' : And we're off! A lot of hype surrounding this match. Let's see if it lives up to it.

Very interesting lineup for the USWNT. Meghan Rapinoe and Lauren Holiday both return to the lineup and Morgan Brian keeps her place. Thinking Pinoe plays as one of the forwards in a 4-3-3 as Lloyd, Holiday and Brian work in the midfield.

USA legends Mia Hamm and Landon Donovan are excited for the game as well.

Some celebrities are pretty pumped about this match up. Check it out.
