April: Relay for Life
The community has taken up a fight against cancer, and FOX Sports Arizona is supporting the cause.
Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s annual fundraising event, hits the Valley at the end of March and is in need of volunteers to join together and raise money to support the ongoing battle against this disease.
Participants from all walks of life are encouraged to form teams that will camp out and spend the entire night walking or running around a track to show support for the fight.
Relay for Life offers a night full of entertainment, games, decorated tents, etc., while providing participants with a chance to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to the disease and show support for those currently battling.
All proceeds raised will benefit the American Cancer Society and its continued efforts to stop cancer once and for all.
