Angels prospect Nate Smith will play for US Team in 2016 All-Star Futures Game
With Mike Trout holding a commanding lead among outfielders in AL All-Star voting, it's fair to assume the 2-time All-Star MVP is a lock to represent the Angels down in San Diego come the 2016 All-Star Break. On Tuesday, we found out another Angel will be joining him.
Lefthanded pitching prospect Nate Smith was named to the US Team for the MLB All-Star Futures Game.

Drafted by the Angels in the 8th round of the 2013 MLB Draft, Smith has a 5-2 record and 3.92 ERA for the Angels' AAA-affiliate Salt Lake City Bees.
Smith and the US Team will face World Team in the Futures Game on Sunday, July 10.
