Angels pitcher Hector Santiago headed to All-Star Game with teammates Trout, Pujols
Hector Santiago is an All-Star after all.
The Angels pitcher was named to the ASG on Sunday as a replacement for Oakland's Sonny Gray, who pitched on Sunday and would then be ineligible to throw on Tuesday.
It's the first-career All-Star Game for the 27-year-old left hander, who's currently 6-4 (in 17 starts) with a 2.33 ERA and 98 strikeouts this season.
He will join teammates Mike Trout and Pujols, both American League starters, in Cincinati.
