Alex Corddry named new reporter for Tampa Bay Rays broadcasts on FOX Sports Sun

TAMPA, Fla. -- FOX Sports Sun, the statewide television home of the Tampa Bay Rays, announced Alex Corddry has joined its roster of Rays on-air talent for the 2017 season. In her new role, Corddry will serve as the in-game reporter on Rays television broadcasts this season, as well as host of select “Inside the Rays” episodes.

Corddry comes to FOX Sports Sun from ESPN and SEC Network, where she covered college football. Prior to her time there, she spent three years as a sports reporter at WHDH NBC 7 in Boston, Mass. Her career experience also includes stints as a reporter for the Washington Redskins covering stories for “Redskins Nation” on Comcast SportsNet and as a reporter covering SEC sports for CBS42 in Birmingham, Ala.
