AL Central Fantasy News: Max Kepler gets the nod

The snowy spring has caused problems for the AL Central's opening week, especially for fantasy baseball. The Tigers had their Sunday night game postponed, as well as the rubber match between the Indians and White Sox.

Chicago White Sox:

Sale's Sweet Start

It's two outings and two wins for the Chicago ace thus far in 2016. With that perfect start, Sale is tied for the wins lead with Cole Hamels. Sale is scheduled to pitch against the Rays in Tampa Bay this weekend. The Florida-native is 1-2 with a 2.01 ERA, but has struck out 37 Rays in 22.1 innings of work at Tropicana Field.

Cleveland Indians:

Welcome to the Kluberdome

In his career, Corey Kluber is 4-0 with a 2.02 ERA in domes. He'll take the mound on Tuesday against the Rays in Tropicana Field.

Detroit Tigers:

Rotation After Rain

The rubber match between Detroit and New York was PPD'd on Sunday night. Justin Verlander moves his start to Monday against the Pirates. Here's the remaining rotation...

Tuesday: Anibal Sanchez (vs. PIT)

Wednesday: Shane Greene (@ PIT)

Thursday: Jordan Zimmermann (@ PIT)

Kansas City Royals:

KC Loves Kennedy

In his Royals debut, Ian Kennedy pitched 6.2 innings, struck out seven, and didn't allow an earned run in Kansas City's 7-0 win over Minnesota on Saturday. Kennedy is projected to pitch on Thursday in Houston. He is 2-0 with a 0.71 ERA at Minute Maid Park.

Minnesota Twins:

Kepler Called-Up

With Danny Santana placed on the 15-day DL for a right hamstring injury, the Twins decided to boost Max Kepler to the bigs. Last year, in 112 Double-A games, Kepler produced a .322 AVG with nine home runs and 71 RBI.
