2016 Fantasy Football: Eli Manning Week 7 Projection

Week 7 of the 2016 Fantasy Football season is nearly here. For owners of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, they are hoping for another good week.

It has largely been a poor season on offense for the New York Giants and quarterback Eli Manning. After being hyped as one of the best offenses heading into the season, the Giants have struggled.

However, there may be some hope of the horizon. In the Giants’ recent win against the Baltimore Ravens, Eli Manning was finally able to have a big game for his fantasy owners. Much of that was due to the great game from Odell Beckham Jr.

In the recent win against the Baltimore Ravens, Manning totaled 403 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, and two interceptions. MetLife Stadium has been good to Manning so far this season, and Week 6 was his best game of the season for his fantasy football owners.

This coming week, the Giants will be playing over the pond in London, England against the Los Angeles Rams. Despite having one of the best defenses in the year last season, the Rams have struggled to stop the pass this season. The loss of Janoris Jenkins to the Giants has certainly affected them, as they are 20th in the NFL in fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks.

Even though Manning hasn’t been as good on the road this season, the matchup against the Rams is a favorable one. The Giants need to continue to win games due to the tough competition in the NFC East, and that means Manning must play well.

Manning is coming off of his best fantasy game of the season, and he will be attempting to continue that. However, the health of Beckham will have an impact on how well Manning will do.

Projection: 250 passing yards and two passing touchdowns.
