SOCHI SCENE: Winter, or San Francisco?

KRASNAYA POLYANA, Russia (AP) Wait, what? It actually feels like winter at the Winter Olympics.

Either that or San Francisco.

A dense fog bank rolled in over the snowboardcross course Monday morning, forcing organizers to cancel qualifying and head straight into the heats.

If, that is, the fog lifts.

Currently, you can see about 50 feet in front of your face at the bottom of the mountain. Sitting in the bleachers, it's barely possible to make out the finish line.

These snowboarders laugh at danger. But riding blind? Even they don't want to go there.
