Norway wins Nordic Combined team sprint event

KUUSAMO, Finland -- Norway won the Nordic Combined team sprint event on Sunday as Haavard Klemetsen and Jorgen Graabak used a solid lead from the jump portion to easily ski to victory, negotiating 7.5 kilometers each.

Germany's second team, Bjorn Kircheisen and Eric Frenzel, took second place -- 24.9 seconds behind the Norwegians. French duo Jason Lamy-Chappuis and Francois Braud came a further 6.3 seconds behind in third.

Germany's first team was fourth, followed by Austria's second and first teams in fifth and sixth respectively.

The Czech Republic, second in the ski jump behind Norway, fell to eighth.
