Wild's Haula: 'No reason to dwell' on past
Minnesota Wild center Erik Haula is content to leave last season in the past.
Signed to a two-year contract earlier this week, Haula told the Minneapolis Star Tribune on Thursday that he is ready to look ahead and leave any lingering issues with coach Mike Yeo in his rear-view mirror.
"It's already behind me," Haula told the newspaper. "There's no reason to dwell on it. I'll just put the work in this summer and go from there. I'll try to do the best I can to be in the best possible shape."
Haula collected seven goals and as many assists in 72 games last season. The 24-year-old Finn will make $2 million on his new deal - with $1.05 million coming in the second year.
