Wild's Graovac making slow recovery from groin injury

Minnesota Wild forward Tyler Graovac has yet to practice since suffering a groin injury during the team's season-opening contest.

"No setback, it's just going to take a little bit of time here," Minnesota coach Mike Yeo told the team's website after Graovac was left to skate on his own Wednesday morning.

A seventh-round selection of the 2011 draft, Graovac provided an early feel-good story for the Wild by making the club out of training camp.

Graovac won nine of 12 faceoff draws despite playing in just 14 minutes in Minnesota's stirring 5-4 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 8. The 22-year-old Ontario native has failed to record a point in four career regular-season games with the Wild.
