Wild's Gabriel stays 'all business' ahead of NHL debut

Minnesota Wild forward Kurtis Gabriel is taking an all-business approach to Tuesday's game versus the Winnipeg Jets.

While that sounds all well and good, one should know that Gabriel is making his NHL debut versus the Central Division-rival.

"You always think that you're going to try to soak it in, but I think it's best to prepare like it's a regular game and soak it in after, reminisce about it after, but now it's all business," Gabriel told reporters on Monday.

Gabriel, who is listed at 6-foot-4, 212 pounds, was recalled from Iowa of the American Hockey League earlier in the day. The 22-year-old Ontario native skated with Erik Haula and Chris Porter on a line during Monday's practice.

Gabriel has collected a team-leading 31 penalty minutes in nine contests this season and has nine goals and 11 assists in 84 career AHL tilts.
